1 Be advocates for public transportation in Portage County and raise the awareness of the need for public transportation in Portage County.
2 Lobby local, state, and federal politicians for support for local transit related projects, and state and federal transit financial assistance.
3 Educate the public as to the accomplishments and contribution that PARTA is making in the community.
4 Raise the level of awareness of the ability of PARTA to leverage federal and state funds for Portage County.
5 Educate the public as to the financial needs of PARTA.
6 Raise the funding necessary to levy a 1/4% sales tax for PARTA.
