Opportunities for people with disabilities are growing all the time. For more than a quarter century, PARTA has made sure our neighbors with disabilities can reach their full potential by providing rides to work, school, workshops, recreation, and other activities. And PARTA's safe, reliable service not only gives parents and caregivers peace of mind, it gives them time to devote to work, home, and other family members.

Recent changes in the welfare system mandated that people move from the welfare roles to the world of work. And while that's a wonderful goal, it's hard to achieve if former welfare recipients don't have a ride to the jobsite or the daycare center. PARTA's making it possible for these new working families to build better lives by providing the transportation they need every day.

As our senior population grows, so do their transportation needs. PARTA's there thousands of times a week. picking seniors up at home and taking them to the doctor's office, the dialysis center, the pharmacy, or the grocery store and then bring them safely home again. PARTA's already hard at work making sure we can meet this growing demand in the years ahead.

In today's incredibly busy world, it's comforting to know that PARTA is here to provide a safe dependable, affordable way for everyone to get where they need to go, when they need to be there. If PARTA wasn't here to do it, who would?
