DIAL-A-RIDE (DART)
Door-to-Door Service

Trips are available Monday-Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. & Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

No service available on major holidays including:

New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Schedulers are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to assist you. Rides should be requested at least one day in advance. Countywide service to the townships is available on specific days of the week, depending on where you live. Please refer to the schedule at the right to plan your rides.

Fixed Route Only Zone
Trips that have easy access to fixed-route bus service and have pickup and drop off locations within .3 miles of a fixed route will no longer be eligible for DART service. Trips will still be eligible for DART if pickup or drop off locations are outside the .3 miles subject to service availability. (This does not apply to ADA complementary paratransit service.)

Reduced fare eligibility

Seniors (65 years of age or older), Medicare card holders, persons with disabilities, or PARTA reduced fare card holders are eligible for reduced fare on fixed route and Dial-A-Ride services. Reduced fare cards can be obtained at 2000 Summit Road OR by calling 330-678-1287 with a Medicare card or a driver’s license OR mail your application to 2000 Summit Road, Kent, OH 44240.

NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION (NET)

Non-Emergency Transportation

Free Transportation is available through the Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) program. Includes rides to doctor, dental, hearing, pharmacy, and counseling appointments for adults and children.  Request services by calling 330-297-3785 or email Portage_NET@jfs.ohio.gov.

Rides are available within all of Portage County and surrounding counties. Please request ten days prior to appointment.
